wow_silamai: (tauren priest)

I've been playing sporadically the last few weeks.  I tried to take a break to play the new Zelda but I ended up coming back after a week.  I've created new characters, deleted old ones (I got rid of my Undead Mage, oh dear), and the like.  So here's the new roster:

Silamai (Level 29 Tauren Discipline Priest) - I suppose I'd call him my main character even though he's not the highest level out of all of them.  I've never played healer in an RPG environment like this before, so I thought I'd give it a go.  That way if I ever did group stuff, my job is easily outlined: just heal the shit out of everything and so on.  Playing Priest in my usual solo environment isn't too bad, either.  I've been thinking of trying dungeons with this one but I'm a bit nervous despite all the guides I've been reading on playing Priest and doing dungeons as healer.

Llaus (Level 35 Human Protection Warrior) - I actually rarely play this guy now.  I don't know why.  I think the class is fun, since it was essentially my first melee one.

Avisto (Level 18 Blood Elf Retribution Paladin) - I've been having trouble finding gear for this one.  I've heard it's because Paladin used to be exclusive to Alliance, so I've been considering re-rolling as a different class and starting over.  However, I've seen a few Blood Elf Paladins in towns and such at super high levels so I guess it is possible to play as one, so maybe I'll just stick with it.

Dolmer (Level 16 Worgen Combat Rogue) - I got all the expansions during that super crazy sale Blizzard had, and was really excited to finally get a Worgen character.  And they have top hats!  That's the most amazing thing.  The starting area is super dreary, though.  I liked the FMVs and speech stuff.

Darugan (Level 7 Night Elf Rogue) - This is the one I started with my mom and I haven't touched it since.

In other news, I finally joined my friends guild with my Priest.  They all seem really nice, and it gives me a reason to actually look at the chat window.  I got suited up with bigger bags, a ton of money (I must remember to save more since I spent like 100 Gold at the Auction House just buying materials for my Tailoring) and a new hat.  Hopefully I don't make an ass of myself.  I haven't quite gotten the hang of the chat window or a lot of the shortcuts/keys to do social things.  I've been reading up on the guild and the perks and stuff.  That all seems really interesting.  I'll have to make sure to keep contributing to their guild level.

Their guild perks are really helping with my tailoring skill too (at least I think it is).  And now that I actually know how it all works (half the reason I deleted my Undead Mage is because I had no idea what I was doing with all of the non-killing-everything stuff and it was a bit late to go back and grind) I'm getting to the point where I'm actually making good armor that I can actually wear.  And another plus is that this armor actually looks good, as opposed to that atrocity that was my own smithed mail on my warrior.

That's all I've been doing lately, I think.  I keep switching between all of my characters because I just can't decide what I want to do with my time, if I'm even playing at all.  At least I have a lot of rest going on, so I'm gaining levels like whoa.
